Originally from the suburbs of Washington D.C. Mason began playing drums at 14 years old and has 15 years of experience. He has been living in Berlin for 6 years and completed both his Bachelors and Masters in Music Business and Music Management respectively. 

Mason teaches drums both at Piano e Forte and privately. Additionally Mason volunteers at Open Music School, a non-profit music school which strives to offer free music lessons for Berlin residents. Mason has experience performing in bands, in the studio, and live. His favorite genres to play include rock, punk, pop-punk, and Hip-Hop and R&B. 

Outside of drumsand under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Otter Bickerdike, Mason worked as an archival assistant for the official Bangles Biography.

Mason teaches in both English and German.
